Hi everybody, i am a lore fanatic just like you who has been around since the beta.

I love how this game has developed in terms of gameplay and tactics (trust me, you do NOT know fear until you have seen the pre-nerf udyr in beta)

One thing that has me concerned lately is the fact that the League's champions feel a lot ... weaker. In the early stages of it the champions were magic, almost divine entities of considerable power, they were Legends ... hence the name.

Lately, more and more champions feel a lot ... weaker, Azir and Kalista were nice additions, they feel and SEEM powerful just by looking at them, one is a spirit, the other a reincarnated almost divine being.

My beef is with characters like Sejuani, Graves, Draven, Darius, Vi, Riven etc ... it simply rubs me the wrong way when a supposedly somewhat tougher human can go and kill a godlike entity like fiddlesticks with a shotgun ... it simply feels wrong to me.

Please RIOT, i do not know if you are reading this, but continue down the path you have taken with your two latest champions, make them feel epic, make them inhuman, make them LEGENDS!

Are you seriously believing Draven to not be a divine entity?

If ascenscion comes from devotion and admiration there is no one better suited for the role of supreme Champion in the League of Draven.

Why should humans not aspire to greatness through techmaturgy, magic, or sheer badassery? How can there be interesting story or characters if no one can stand on level with Nasus or Azir because they aren't gods?

They wield incredible power and people like Graves or Lucian only stand a chance in the ring with them because they are legendarily skilled or enchanted in a way that the rest of the world isn't.

The diminutive Yordle champions have special abilities and magic powers that allow them to stand against the war machines of the developed and powerful city-states of Demacia and Noxus. They, like the human champions, stand apart from the rest of their race who are not possessed of such abilities and combat prowess.

Udyr is just a guy who communed with nature as he was taught and the spirits chose to exalt him with their power.

Garen's just an extremely loyal and loud soldier with a lot of big, flashy armor - he existed in the beta.

Ashe is a regular human with an enchanted bow. Shes one of the original characters.

Ashe is a goddess and a legend.
