It's been many months, and yet we've yet to hear much of what this technical issue is, or how it is being solved.
RIot could we get some info on how things are going with it at least?

As I recall, they already wrote all the new champion lores, they just need to find a way to better display it on their site, which mind I tell you all, it still has large parts of it in the old format from 2 seasons ago (while some are in the new format like the boards).

, but it stands to reason that they've had the extended stories made in this style for the majority of champions finished up for a while now. I mean if they were confident enough to try and use Amumu's new story as part of an experiment to see if they had a fix in for the tech, then they probably have a good few more prepped.
They wanna divorce lore from the client in a major way, and in doing so they discovered that they weren't so much married as they were conjoined twins, so what they thought could be handled with a lawyer and some papers required a team of surgeons!
That might be the weirdest comparison I've ever made for anything in my life.

Isn't it already a major complaint around these parts that they make promises and break them? You want them to make more promises about potential fixes for the tech that may or may not work out, leading to further disappointment and resentment?

Where is the big point in knowing stuff like "oh that last time we thought we had it,but then we didn't have it",the problem is either solved or not and they are supposedly working on it.

Not everything is updated as soon as they are freshly fixed, they need to integrate the changes with the PVP.net interface, which I cant imagine is a easy task. They will ether do it in large chunks or do a full update once they finish it completely.
And we did previously got large chunks of updates, just look at how the PVP.net and the site look in most places, next to how they looked 2 years ago or even a year ago. They are clearly doing their best to update on all channels.

Verandure3 votesThe purpose of posts like the OP's is to 'keep Riot accountable' for what they've said in the past. It's not so much asking for a legitimate, "Hey, guys! Sorry about the delay, but this tech issue is still kicking our butts on this end." so much as an accusatory jab at them for hiding behind a flimsy excuse -- which it is.
Personally, I don't hold my breath for lore (in this game).

As much as I'd love an iterative lore telling with an emphasis on world-building and character interaction, I don't honestly think the Lore team is capable of such grandiose projects given their status. I can understand the excuse of tech issues -- the client still uses the horribly unstable Adobe Air, the website still has no mobile support, and half of their domain hasn't even been updated to the new system -- because it's clear that not only the Lore team is hurting on the technical side of the spectrum.
Just because I call it an excuse doesn't mean I don't think it's a valid reason for delay. They're just using the tech issue as a means of asking us to excuse their delay.

If 343i can fix the Master Chief Collection in less then four months (and continue fixing it further over six) then Riot has no excsluse. Hell, 343i even went on record as "we have no idea what happened and we are sorry, here's compensation."
343i has been keeping everyone up to date DESPITE OVERWHELMING and CONSTANT hate mail/venom/disappointment.
And Riot can't fix a tech issue, keep us updated, and actually try and work with us?
Tesla Effect1 votesWell the PVP.net interface is gonna be more connected to their main site, the just recently made it possible to read some of their news from the client, I suspect they will do that for the lore as well. While the client itself wont have all the major champion lore edged into it (probably only the short Bios, it will be linked in a better way to the main site which will house all the lore related to the champion) it will have short descriptions. The tech issues, as Ive come to believe, are linked with the main site and the PVP.net interface, both of which had only been updated to a small extent.
