So Cosmic Dusk Xayah is apparently having her feathers changed from the crescent moons, which are awesome, to just yellow feathers.

I think they need to be changed the way they are. The moon idea was cool and all but it doesn't really look like the same ability. SO they are obviously did this for better clarity.

What do you mean they don't look like the same ability? That's the point of skins... They just change the color and the shape.

Yes, but abilities need have the same readability across skins. So the Moon shape isn't the same feeling when you see that on the ground as the Feathers. It may come across as a different ability when you see that in battle and could be confusing.

Girl please. Do you know how many times i've died to Elemental Lux ult's because I didn't recognize that specific flavor of lux's ultimate color. I'm going to put this on the list of dumb skin changes next to Dark Valkyrie Diana skin's hat being removed because it was supposedlly too much like Syndra.

All of her abilities look identical, they are just different colors...across all of her skins, not even that one. This is nothing new. So that's on you for dying :P

But why should it have the same feeling? Skins shouldn't be homogenous, especially 1350 ones. The theme of the skin is cosmic and space, with an emphasis on night and moons. Why should a 1350 rp cosmic skin shoot feathers? It's not like the moons resemble any other champions' ability or can be mistaken for anything else.

She's still a bird in the skin though, why would she suddenly have moons come off her wings? That makes literally no sense.

Because her cloak is the embodiment of space and she can project them?

Their whole thing is cosmic entities like Aurelion sol with this skin line.
