@Riot, and Players, Let's Have An Open Discussion About The Lore Retcon

Personally, I found that the lore retcon made a lot of pretty cool lore (most of what was written in the Journal of Justice) no longer cannon. I think that was a pretty bad move.

While I think the Bilgewater lore was really well written, it doesn't really seem to carry the kind of world significance that something like the Kalmanda incident did.

Looking at Runeterra's development, I'm still having trouble seeing how the retcon has improved things. I'm just feeling heartbroken over all of the ideas that are being retconned out of existence before coming to fruition.
