Why give Ezrael the legendary skin?
If hes gonna be in the skinline then fine, but why a legendary?
He already has a fucking ultimate skin, give it to Jayce or Graves

Because he's the main character of this skinline. I'm not even joking. They built this skinline as if it was an anime & they went with Ezreal as the MC because he best fit the role of shounen anime protagonist.
The new VO allowed them to Ez the personality of a protagonist that starts out shy & lacking confidence. But it changes throughout the game & Ez becomes more confident about himself & his powers.
And also what BoricCentaur said. Like it or not, Ez is a very popular champ. All the Boards bitching about giving him don't mean shit since we all know it's gonna sell like hotcakes, especially in other regions like China or South Korea. So building the skinline around him & giving him the legendary skin is the smartest move, business-wise.
P.S - I think we're forgetting the fact that Ez got his Ultimate skin back in 2012. Yes, it has been updated a number of times throughout the years. But that doesn't change the fact that it has been 7 years since he got. There's no rule about not getting a legendary skin if you already have an ultimate. Even if it was, there has been more than enough time & other skins between between his Ultimate & Legendary skins.
Because the reason they make skins is to make money and the majority of players would rather have a ez skin vs a jayce or graves skin.
because he's the most fitting champion for a shonen protag skin.
He's literally a dumbass kid who jumps headfirst into adventure.
Because he is the most fitting thematically by a country mile out of literally every champion in the LoL roster.
People who play Greaves, Jayce and Katarina combined don't give them enough money to warrant spending money making one.
Probably because he fit well into the theme of literally being "deku" from boku no hero academia, that esque of a character. But I still feel like ezreal who has an anime inspired skin (SG) and lux as well, getting legendary and prestige editions is really not cool of riot..
give it to Jayce or Graves
It's too late for that now. Not releasing a Legendary skin that is already done would just mean wasting money and time. And upgrading Graves and Jayce would take some time and they would have to get the voice actors to come to Riot.
Ezreal gets the Legendary, can't help it anymore at this point.
Simple, popularity and money. Thats it. End of discussion.
More importantly, why isn't Riot releasing Ezreal and Taric skins together like they did with
