What was the general consensus on the Warsongs album?

Yeah yeah, I know I'm late I listened to the album when it came out, and its been bothering me ever since.

I was super pumped when I read that riot put out an EDM album filled with remixes of their songs, and it had some pretty big names in it too. However when I listened to them all, I was just so disappointed. Its bothering me that I'm disappointed because I have loved pretty much everything music-wise riot has done.

Some might say that's fine for a remix, but I feel I should recognize the original song fairly quickly when I hear a remix. I feel like a little more attention should've been paid to make sure that the inspiration is heard.

However I could be crazy, I'm just curious as to everyone else's opinions.
