@Riot: How sore was Warwick's VA's throat after he was done with his lines?

There's so much growling, low tones, and guttural sounds in those lines that just listening to them starts to make my throat hurt after a while.

To answer your question. Normally performances are recorded in a single four hour session. For Warwick we had multiple shorter sessions instead, and a shorter script as well. The actor was still exhausted by the end of each recording, drenched in sweat. So you could say that by the end, the murderwolf turned back into a man. Even if his throat was fine, the rest of him was tired!

How about Scott McNeil after doing the Sion work?

I mean I know he's used to making those kinds of sounds, but to pump out all of Sion's SCREAMING WARRIOR lines in a four-hour block sounds taxing.

We can't really comment on casting, unfortunately. Though in the past some actors have revealed that they worked on the game themselves. It's kind of up to them. But it's safe to say that sometimes we do recast during VGUs (I mean, it's hard to deny when some characters get all new attitudes and accents).
