Is Kog'Maw's "daddy" Still Canon?

Kog'Maw is an old champ(5 years to be exact) and much of his lore needs changing now but is this "daddy" he mentions in-game going to be a part of the new lore? I could see him being tied to a void invasion event.

He really ought to look more Void-like color palette. Am i right, though?

Generally, the way these things work is that until something is stated otherwise; or old lore conflicts with new lore. Its still canon.

E.g: Swain has been shown to STILL be the grand general of noxus now, even though the IoW isn't canon anymore, Kog'Maw's father is likely still a canonical being

On a side note, I recall a red saying that "Summoners" still exist, just not in the same context.

I thought his dad was Chogath. Kog'Maw: "Terror coming! Daddy coming!" something like that.

Well, Riot said that his "dad" was too big for the Summoner Rift... so, he is not a champion.

I sure hope he is, I mean we actually have the whole Void invading Shurima stuff so he actually has a place where he can exist in the context of the story.
