Will the final guy be a dual weapon wielding badass? Just imagine someone who, on the brink of being corrupted by one darkin, took a great risk and took up another darkin hoping that the two will cancel each other out.
While the idea is cool,it would feel a bit like a waste,since it'd mean that we'll only get one other darkin instead of 2.
The more people mention the 4 Horsemen thing, the less it makes sense just because of there being 5. Riot have stuck with the number even if the idea has progressed lore since since Aatrox came out.
As there were (surely) many Darkin before only 5 were left (trapped in whatever form they are) maybe they are more to do with with negative human traits. Varus took his for revenge, he wants vengeance. Raast obviously has bloodlust, death is part of that and Aatrox is anger in the form of war. So maybe the other 2 to represent something like disgust and resentment/jealousy.
I just wanna point out that, that is the same as taking rat poison but hoping a different brand of rat poison would save if you take it.
