Just a message since it's about 6 or 7 months till Valentines day.

Can you NOT try and make next years skins "classy" like you did with this years? I really like the heartseeker line, but you absolutely dropped the ball hardcore this year with Quinn's and Lucians.

Lucian's was SO boring, there is NOTHING interesting about a dude in a pink suit. It was a boring and lame skin with so little inspiration behind it. Not too mention god ugly.

Quinn was a fucking train wreck from the beginning. The theme was so unbefitting her, but even then you didn't even consider how it would translate in-game. So many things were wrong with it. From the design, to the colour scheme, to the textures. I swear the team just saw that one concept art by Zeronis and said "Fuck it, ship it and let's go home"

Then you had to do a shitty job patchwork job to try and fix the skin when people hated it for obvious reasons.

Fuck Classy. Keep the Heartseeker skinline sexy, flamboyant and gaudy af like you did in the past. Heartseeker Ashe, Orianna, Varus were all great skins. Go back to that formula of making HS skins, because I do not want a repeat of this years horrible trainwreck.

I honestly hope they go with Heartseeker Xayah and Rakan . I think it can be pulled off pretty well and the theme works with them.

Isn't that a big too obvious? Their design is that they literally are lovebirds, why make a skin further emphasizing it? Its like having a cosmic reaver skin for AurelionSol Or a harrowing skin for Shaco Program Camille would be following this trend, and honestly most people disliked that they made program camille, a skin about robots, when camille is practically already a robot.

Honestly, Zeronis' Heartseeker Quinn concept is amazing, it just wasn't implemented very well in game :( Add that to the fact that Quinn's animations make it really hard to give her a nice, elegant skin.

I think the main issue is less about whether next years' skins should be classy, and more about finding the right characters to sport the theme. Some champions simply won't look good as lovey-dovey cupids or Valentine's Day heralds, even if they may seem like promising concepts in 2D. A champion like Kalista for example probably wouldn't do the Heartseeker theme justice, regardless if she's wearing flowing robes or a low-crop top. She faces a similar issue to Quinn where, even though Heartseeker may seem like a good fit on paper (her spears can be roses and her sentinel can be a dove), her animations just don't lend themselves well to the aesthetic (she's almost always hunched over).

Frankly I hate the concept art. Doesn't look or feel like Quinn. She has the weird baby-face look that Zeronis does and her body is really off.

There were better fan-concepts done then the one done by Zeronis. But tbf I hate almost everything the man makes so I'm frankly bias.

I think your judgment about what they should do next year is extremely welly worded and eloquently done and frankly worthy of it's own post.

As much as I like Ashe's heartseeker skin, I think it's a bit too regal tbh. Would have preferred more cupid like, like Varus and Quinn's.

She isn't a very flirty, regal or poised character. Sexy doesn't lend itself to her very well either. She's gritty and kinda normy for a theme that is so flamboyant. Her posture and animations don't lend itself well at all to a skirt or dress or anything.

Have a think about it really.

Ashe's Royal status and nature makes her very befitting the "Red Queen" thematic often affiliated with the heart. Heck she's even flirty.

"How do you like the curves? I was talking about the bow." "Take a good look; it's the last you'll get." "Keep staring... just don't look behind you."

Sona and Orianna were great for the music and dancing aspect of romance. They suit best thematically AND visually. Varus fits the stereotypical muscular cupid trope and his bow and arrow were a perfect match visual effects wise. Vayne is very dominatrix in her attitude and vibe, so she fits into the 'Lust' thematic really well.

Quinn... doesn't suit any of that? She's not poised. She's not sexy. She's not regal. She's not lusty either. I get making valor a dove, but Quinn herself just looks ew. Her animations don't work well whatsoever either. God they had to edit her chest, and skirt like twice because it looked so garbage when she was walking.

Lucian kind of fits the theme of valentines day. especially with his backstory being heavily relationship heavy, but the skin was just done very poorly. They could of really doubled down on the 'sauve' aspect, but they just got lazy and put him in a pink suit.

I'm 90 percent sure we're gonna get Heartseeker Xayah and Rakan. Or Tango skins for them. They already dance with eachother.
