Leona and Diana are not related?

Seriously, i just read their full lores and there is no indication that they are sisters.

Why? This is not good. Now they are just plain boring rivals. If they were sisters, at least it gave us the sense of anticipation of a battle between the two. Would they fight to the death or would Diana be able to prove to Leona and (as Leona is the leader of the Solari) to the rest of the Solari?

EDIT:I never said they were sisters, i only said that it's just going to be another boring rivalry that will most likely not get a solution like every other "brink of war/revelation/destiny" lore out there for 5+ years as lore apart from BIlgewater has never advanced in League of Legends.

We have already a sister rivalry Kayle & Morgana and the rivalry between these 2 is already dangerously similar to that of Leona and Diana(both have a zealous woman in golden armor and a rebellious woman who uses dark related powers(diana is moonrelated which is in turn related to the night))

Not to mention that we also have already 2 more sibling rivalrys with Nasus & Renekton and Shen & Zed (even though zed was adopted),the trope is already a bit overused.

That type of relationship already exists between Kayle and Morgana.
This way they can be in Lesbians with each other without it being weird.

They're not sister, but they might develop a close relationship in the future.

But it not like any of the other Rivalry they are not trying to kill each other. In Diana lore it is stated that Lunari and Solarir fought side by side back to back. As for Leona lore she first wanted to kill Diana but after reaching the top of the Mt. she only stated that she must find Diana. Now we don't know for sure if she still wants to kill Diana but it is possible that she now know the truth and just want to team up with Diana. So it is not a typical rivalry where I must kill you before you kill me.

Just to clarify, Leona isnt the leader of the solari, only thier fighters.

and they arnt necisarily rivals at that, it said at the end of leona's lore she needed to find diana immediately, but based on what just occured, it could be presumed that it because of the knowledge leona had gained, it could very well mean Leona and diana are to become allies... or rivals... its ambiguous. lol
