I am confused with Miss Fortune's story now

I mean, in her changed story she lives with mother who was creating pistols and someday Gangplank came to her mother for revolvers he wanted, he didn't want to pay though so he killed Sarah's mother and almost Miss, but in the artbook it looks like she is living with father and man who should kill her mother/father isn't Gangplank but some diffrent dude... Maybe it's GP but in the story he had red scarf, not some weird mask... and this person in mask seems a lot darker than GP. I don't know maybe it's GP and i am overthinking this :)

That's cause what's in the art book is concept art not canon. Things change throughout production.

You have to understand that the artbook is filled with concept art aka art from when the champ was in still production.

Art from pre-rework/when they were still figuring out MF's lore is my guess.

Miss Fortune has one of the most rich backstories. Also considering that she played a main role in the burning tides event. But then you play her in the actual game and you see that slutty pirate like she came out of a halloween party. It's sad that GP got two visual reworks while MF is still nothing but pirate puns and innuendos.

Honestly, whether her mother or father was killed doesn't really matter. All we need to know is that a man killed her only parent and she vowed revenge. Now, who it was that killed the parent IS important. Canonically, it was GP, but that might have been different when her story was first being written.
