@Riot, Story, Art, and Sound Should Be Different Boards

First off, Story, Art, and Sound are completely different disciplines, there's no reason why they should be lumped together.

With the current lump the artistic boards together mentality that Riot has adopted for it's boards, I think there may be some harmful consequences.

Since these three distinct artistic disciplines are being lumped into one board, we are probably getting people who actually know about one discipline upvoting/downvoting on another, not because they actually know anything about it, but because it's easy.

Currently, it's easy to go to the Story/Art/Sound boards to talk about art, but if you see a thread about Sound you feel lilke you disagree with, it takes less than a second to downvote it...regardless of your understanding of what that thread may have been about.

@Riot. I think this is a problem. Do you think it's a problem?

So you're agreeing that people have been posting on the wrong boards...Which indicates that RIot should provide the proper boards for them to actually post on.

that doesn't make any since! so you are saying having 3 boards where people get them wrong is better than having one where you cant be wrong

At least in that scenario, a certain percentage of people are posting on the correct boards.

No he's saying that when people had three boards for all this stuff they posted on the incorrect ones anyway. With the current set up everything falls under the same umbrella and there's little confusion.
