Why I want to see Ryze's lore expanded on more than any other champion,

Aside from really loving the new Ryze, in his lore the artifacts called World Runes are supposedly magical devices capable of producing tremendous amounts of magical energies to the point where the events created by them can be best described as Cataclysmic.

Well it's not really just about Ryze, but it's these runes that exist. They aren't really solely a part of Ryze's lore but a part of Runeterra itself, which means that these runes serve as a component to tie the world together.

Think about it, who's to say those exact same runes don't exist in Shurima or aren't powering the sun disc, or maybe even the shadow isles where "magical artifacts" empowered a death spell to transform the blessed isles, or maybe the runes after they destroy an area, also open the door for void portals(Icathia).

After all the name of the world these places and characters reside in is called Runeterra or Magic Earth.
