So, by some unheard of luck, i attained my 10th Gemstone today! Wow! But, I've been hesitant to use them yet with the curiosity of "could there maybe be future hextech crafted skins?". Soulstealer Vayne is awesome, but frankly I never play ADC, so I'd probably make Hextech Annie but...I hardly play Annie.
That said, does anyone know if Riot has any (near) future plans for other Hextech crafted skins?
Grats on the gems! I only have 3, some day. If I were you I'd hang on the gems because you never know. You might get a answer if you ask in the "ask Riot" posts.
They had said they wanted to make a few of them each year, so I'm hoping we'll see some more soon.
When you already have both the skins...and the ward skin...and another set of 10...rito has taken my money.

I say save them for future skins. Hextech Annie looks pretty cool and her splash art is dope, but I wouldn't say its worth 10 gemstones. Same with Vayne, except SS Vayne looks like a 975 skin where Hextech Annie at least looks 1350.
I mean shit, I've gotten maybe 3-4 gem stones and I instantly cash them in for the extra box & keys so I must imagine saving up 10 of them took some time and patience. Wait for the skin that comes out that makes you go "OH SHIT!" and then spend the gem stones on that one. What's the point of all that effort if you're hardly gonna use the skin ya know?
Nice! I would say save on to them for another one and if you don't like that one then continue to save. That is what I am going to do with my 14 gemstones xD
I have 3 right now (i've had another 4 before but i was young and foolish and just spent them for the extra chest set) and i gotta say wait for new skins. SS Vayne seems way too cheap. Hextech annie got great effects in my opinion but it's not an 1820 kinda skin. For the amount of money spent on Hextch Crafting to get those gemstones you'd expect something of super high quality.
I remember last year i got randomely 6 out of chests alone. I got the others from the project fest.
Sure you should just wait for the next skin to come out just to be sure. But soulstealer vayne is great if you can play her, and really threatning for the enemy.
I've been wondering the same. I don't really play any of the champs that have Hextech skins right now. I have 13 gemstones and I've spend under 100$, just waiting what will be the next hextech skin after Darius, my guess is that it will be for a Jungler or Support.
This is actually something I want to know as well.
Hopefully there are no future plans for them. Skins meant for whales are stupid.
I'm sitting at 9 myself. If I ever get a 10th, I'll likely sit on em and hope for a skin for a champ I actually use.
