What colorstory is your favorite?

I've been reading more colorstories recently, and while my short attention span stops me from getting to all of them on my own i'd love to read some more that you all like!

My favorite at the moment is Viktor's "House on Emberflit Alley" . I really love how it portays Viktor as likable but still not like, normal. It made me want to learn more about him, sadly there's not much in that vain of lore but It's fine enough on it's own. I also love all the updated darkin lore stories!

Someday, in 80 years, we'll get Voidborne stories. Then you'll see, you'll all see.

Have a feeling a certain tiny little story is going to be mentioned a lot here...

My favorite? Personally, one of mine is "Garden of Forgetting."

I think it portrays a very nuanced and sympathetic Ahri, plus much of its language, aesthetics, and plot are right up my alley!

The Man With The Steel Cane, especially the scrapped version.

It gives a good idea of how far Jhin is willing to go for the art. In the official version, he kills a maid when people are fully aware of what is happening and can stop him. Then he runs away and goes back to the inn just to take in the scene and taunt Shen.

In the scrapped version, he grooms his target's son into getting him to decorate the town square for him. Then, he slowly, brutally murders the kid's mom in front of him. Then, he fucking runs at his target while assembling Whisper to kill him.

What a fucking madman.

There are so many good stories, it's really hard to choose. I think my favorites have to be Sai Kahleek, Deep Breath, and Lullaby.

Sai Kahleek does an excellent job at worldbuilding, while the other two manage to warm my heart every time I read them.

I've said it before, even though their overall lore impact is low, "Puboe Prison break" and "Nothing rhymes with Tubebow" are my favorites. Simply because they portray Xayah and Rakan well.

My favorite color story isn't out yet... I'm patiently waiting for it to be written someday...

In the meantime, while it is not a color story per se, my favorite story is The Dreaming Pool...

And she woke from her endless dream.

It is actually a really good story and I think Anthony Reynolds did such a good job at portraying Syndra. She is powerful, angry, frightening... Which is why I am actually hoping he'll be the one to write her color story - he understands the character pretty well (and I love his style!)

The Voice from the Hearth if we're talking about "color" stories. Viktor is one of my favorites too. Thinking now, there is only Katarina's that comes into my mind from color stories aside from these two. Ekko's is pretty cool too.
