I'm just saying if you wanted to put some high school couple canon with likable characters who don't have a boku amount of skins , Ekko and Taliyah would of fit so well. Plus Ezreal fits the main characters cocky best friend way better than being a main character.

Ekko already has an Academy skin. It's not Battle Academia, but the themes would be too similar. Taliyah wouldn't be too suitable since her combat theme revolves around controlling stones and rocks which can't really be adapted well to something to the lines of Anime/mecha/tech. Aside from Yuumi, everyone else in the skinline has a weapon that can be easily adapted to this techy mecha Anime style.
So yeah, I wouldn't go for those champions, regardless of whether you ship them or not.
Every other 2 champions would be better than ez and lux.

Ekko maybe, but this skin line seems like Project, with an emphasis on having Cool looking weapons.
Kinda sucks not seeing Taliyah at all, us mains are just left disappointed like always...
Hell even RiotStellari tried so hard to push for Taliyah (and of course Riot was like nah).

I'm so sad to say this,as i am part of what i'm about to say but.... even if ekko didn't have already an academy skin,he wouldn't have fitted because he and taliyah are just black,dawg.... anime shonen protagonist are usually Not black,they tend to be very very good looking (otherwise it wouldnt be selling) and have a shitty cliché personality,which Ekko really isn't,and i'm glad of that. But yeah,Riot won't hear anything or anyone about it so Lux gonna reach 20 skins along with ezreal soon or later.
I think that Ekko and Taliyah will also fit into BA skinline and I would like you to give Taliyah a new skin.
However, Ezreal and Lux also fit into this skinline, and it's true that they contribute significantly to sales.

Ezreal while already has a lot of skins, is just a better choice for "Male anime protagonist". Ezreal is literally the staple anime boy for league, also Ekko already has an academy skin so it would be just too similar.
