Is there any chance we will see a new AP midlaner champ this year?

From Champ Roadmap article we know that the next new champ will be a Vanguard and that doesn't sound like a champ who designed for Mid laner.

Except of Galio. we have not been received any new ap mid laner since Taliyah. After Taliyah were Kled Ivern Camille Xayah Rakan Kayn and now this next new Vanguard. Eve will be surely jungler. A new champ after eve could be ap mid laner but the problem is Swain will come next. I doubt they want to release 2 champ in the same role back to back.
