Something really simple; that I'd think add a lot of flavor to the lore of League.

Add a short lore to each completed item. I understand that pretty much EVERY item in the game is more so a reference to a real life figure. (Most obvious with or and ) I'm speaking of the lore within the league of legends universe. Of which it's hilariously minimal outside of and . Given the fact that I'm pretty damn certain that editing item descriptions is pretty easy. I'd believe that a single rioter could add a short bio for every completed item in the game within a few hours. For something that I personally believe would add a lot of flavor to League.

Maybe I'm actually completely insane and editing item descriptions to add some lore is actually the single hardest task in the history of mankind. Regardless what do you people think? Perhaps toss in a few suggestions yourself if you want.

A lot of items already have lore attached to them. In addition to what KestrelGirl already said: item 3031 Dipped in the Oasis of the Dawn in old Shurima item 3157 Most likely left behind in Icathia by Zilean item 3190 Shield from the Iron Solari, led by Leona item 3512 Portal which allows Voidborn to enter Runeterra item 3143 Defensive bulwark used by the Demacian army

and there's a whole lot more I can't remember.

I agree. A little short flavor text (just a sentence) for every item could really change the feel of the game itself. Wouldn't even be very hard to implement. I don't see a reason why not.

I even think having some lore-related text could possibly slightly ease some of the competitiveness/toxicity by giving some attention to the lore to interest players.

Even basic items can have a little bit written about them.

Instead of pointing out what items already have lore behind them like everyone else I'll theorize on possible lore for some items

item 3001 maybe has something to do with the demons of Runeterra? Like a demon artifact? Seems plausible since 3 out of 4 demons that we know deal magic damage or scale with AP ( TahmKench Evelynn and the demon Swain controls, only exception is Nocturne )

item 3006 based off of the name and from Olaf 's lore id guess these where what he and his Viking friends wore

item 3802 item 3165 the picture on Lost chapter seems a lot like the symbol of the shadow Isles, could it bee that lost chapters are pages of Morellonomicon and that since they look similar Morello is the book Karthus carries around and sings out of when Casting Requiem?

item 3072 might be a sword made in the cult Vladimir learned Hemomancy in?

item 3083 maybe owned by some guy named Warmog who lives in the same forest as Zyra which explains why it looks like it's made of plants? Maybe Warmog was a shaman and that explains the regenerative properties of it?

Certain items that I believe could have lore significance: item 3153 : Duh. It's the Blade of the Ruined King. item 3742 : Possibly Gangplank's former armor, but possibly just that of a fallen person. item 1055 item 1056 item 1054 : According to Ornn, Doran still exists in lore. It's unsure whether he is in the same predicament as he was in the previous lore, though. item 3193 : Is clearly made of petricite, the anti-magic stuff that Galio is made of. item 3031 : I think I once read a lore blurb about how any sword dipped in the waters of the lake at the heart of Shurima would become forever sharp. This may or may not just be me hallucinating. item 3158 : IONIA! item 3190 : Has something to do with the Solari at Targon, for sure. item 3115 : Baron Nashor's tooth. item 3078 : Irelia's blades, possibly?

The support items also probably have something to do with their regions.

HOLY HELL I NEVER EXPECTED THIS TO GET ANYTHING xD Talk about a pleasant surprise indeed. ^_^

Anyhow glad that people pointed out some lore I was unaware of. (Such as item 3031 )

I guess I'll hop in to share a few ideas of my own for potential item lore.

item 3109 A helmet worn by a long forgotten knight. Who's last words are famously written into his tomb. Legend states that his spirit still lingers, ready to fulfill the vow.

item 3142 A blade wielded by a powerful wraith swordmaster. Who would be laid to rest on the harrowing; taking the combined efforts of two demacian hunters.

item 3139 The scimitar of a shurmian messager. Who moonlighted as an assassin. Those that managed to find the messager's quicksilver sashes could forge a replica. Guaranteeing sure footing regardless of terrain or fatigue.

Nah man thats too much work not like they work every day and even if they did one item a day before patches they wouldnt get it done in less than a year if they only do big items and up to 2 years if they include minor items.
