@Rioters, What Actually Caused The Retcon? Who Is Tommy Gnox? Why Did An Unknown Rioter Announce it?
Why did some unknown Rioter announce the Retcon? Why didn't Jaredan announce it? Or better yet, why didn't Riot Tryndamere announce it?

I'd also like to point out that despite his position within the company and his involvement with lore at the time, Riot Jaredan and most other well known Rioters for some unknown reason abstained from commenting on this thread for some reason. _ Back when the Retcon was a controversial issue that most players disagreed with, most, if not all, of the prominent Rioters on the forums today didn't actually support it on the forums at the time._
Why would Jaredan not comment on one of the biggest changes to LoL's lore since it's inception? It sees kinda weird. **If anything, he should be the one announcing it! ** Also, the thread creator of the Retcon announcement, Tommy Gnox suspiciously only ever seemed to actually post around that time of the announcement, and then never posted again. Weird.

Every single post made by Tommy Gnox is dated "two years ago". Sure there's a bit of a window there, but it's a small one.
In the early days of the Lore Retcon, Riot Opeli was a prominent source of information..and also a prominent target for misguided hate. She seemingly came outta nowhere, got a lot of heat for defending the Retcon and then disappeared.
Where was Tryndamere when the retcon was annouced? Where was Jaredan? Where was any Rioter that we actually knew? Is it a coincidence that non of them have any regular forum presence anymore?
Time has passed, and for the most part the player base has forgotten/forgiven the shitty treatment players got during the Retcon.
But it still seems really weird, why didn't any of the more prominent Rioters back the Retcon announcement at the time it was announced?
Did they lack the conviction to stand behind their choices?
edit: And let's not forget how the old "Lore Boards" were the only boards that weren't migrated to the current forums until there was a huge community outcry about it. That was also kinda weird.****
