Will skins splash arts be updated or what?!?

How is it possible that in 2015 i have to look at THAT.

HOW. IS. IT. POSSIBLE

So... we got the majority (not all) of the base splash arts updated (even Anivia... finally). But Riot doesn't seem to care about the skin splash arts at all. I searched and i found nothing said by Riot about this. Most of the old skin splash SUCKS ASS. They look like a game from the early 90's and that is being generous. I have no idea how they even came into existance, but it's not possible for a player to buy a skin and see this stupid splash art always. I'm an "old" player so i don't give much weight to it anymore, but try to put yourself in the shoes of a NEW PLAYER. A new player see"Oh free Riot girl Tristana skin? I'll get it now!" Only to realize that he could do a better splash art in Microsoft Paint (This is not even a joke is real)

There are a TON of splash art of skins that should be updated, and no one seems to care about it. I'm not happy with just having the base splash art updated, i want consistency, and RIot certainly can slowly update these things.

CASE CLOSED. UPDATE THESE THINGS.

There are a lot more and it would take like 1h to actual artist to make new one .

Karma 's release skins need splash changes.

Oh and her traditional skin as well.

Yeah. I want to throw out Pharoah Nidalee too. That looks like something drawn by a kindergarten class.

And any champ that just has BLACK as a background for their base splash (Rammus, Poppy). What the hell is going on there!?

Every single one of Trundle's skins need new splash art outside of the cop one.

It's not that Riot doesn't care about updating the splash art skins, but rather that their artists are busy with other projects. They stated in a post a few years ago that it made more sense to prioritize upcoming things or base champion splashes instead of skin splashes due to their available manpower, so that's why Lolipoppy is still a freakish abomination and Gem Knight Taric looks awful.

Base splash updates have been coming out relatively regularly every couple months for the champions who still need them, so have no fear that Rammus and Xin Zhao will eventually get some love tossed their way.

lol they havent even updated many splash that need update asap: Amumu Fiddlesticks Corki Evelynn Galio Irelia Kennen Malzahar Nasus Rammus Skarner Teemo Warwick XinZhao Yorick and i'm not putting Taric and Poppy in here cause hopefully they will get it in the upcoming rework... so yeah skin splashes are definately not priority right now...

PS. I do have the free skin of tristana but obviously i dont use it classic is eons better...

I just started 3 months ago :D My friend told me i would get Riot Girl Trist if i liked their FB, so I did. AND I LITERALLY SCREAMED. I mean, RG Trist in pretty cute in game (comes complete with weird pink hairdo, but well it's life) but the old splash is...Tristana item 3070
