Did anyone else notice the Void emblem is reminiscent of the Yellow Sign?

Yellow Sign as in The King in Yellow fame.

Not exact, obviously, but they both have a striking, swirled, organic look to them. I suppose that shouldn't be too much of a shock given that the Void follows quite closely the whole cosmic horror theme, but I still thought it was neat.

They are definitely similar. Whether that similarity is intentional or not may never be known.

The King in Yellow stories isn't really quite along the same line as void terrors. Lovecraft and later Mythos writers made much more of the book than exists in the original.

The King in Yellow was one of the inspirations for the Cthulhu Mythos, actually. Hastur was later added into the universe by other writers.

I'll admit, though, if the snippet about the Void being some kind of otherworldly weapons factory is accurate rather than an unreliable story regarding the Void then it is far more knowable than some of the more esoteric Mythos critters. The Void as it stands right now has more in common with Super Mario RPG's Smithy than it does with Azathoth.
