At this time it's so clear that Aoshin and Dragonmaster Swain are in the same boat. I don't know if I would play this game until 2017. Maybe it's a time for me to give up my hope for this skin and set my expectations so low. Now only things i want to see is Swain's vu and gameplay update.

It's ok. Life must go on. The sun will rise and Ahri Gnar Riven Shyvana Thresh will get new skin in upcoming year.

i really dont get the hype for this skin. the concept art was nice, but aside from that i just dont see it being anything special. Im glad they know of it, and probably will work on it eventually, but why anyone expected this skin so soon is just idiotic. Skins take years to work on. They need to actually get the idea, concept art, make it for the game and all that while also making sure there are no bugs/glitches with the skin or game. and thats probably just for "recolor" skins. with legendary im sure they would need to make custom particles for the AA, and skills. With DMS what else would they change aside from his Ult?

I mean its nice that people want the skin, but expecting it so soon its just not going to happen. Plus they obviously arent going to drop everything to make the skin. Its probably on the list of upcoming skins to make. they probably have at least one skin for all/most champions currently, and it wouldnt be fair to stop all work on current skins just to work on this one alone.

The concept of it first arose in mid-early 2011... I'm pretty sure that's enough fucking years. Meanwhile FUCKING TRISTANA GETS A DRAGON SKIN BEFORE SWAIN DOES! Not to mention it's hardly even a dragon.

yes the concept for it. But Riot themselves didnt even acknowledge it till what 2013-14, thats what im talking about. Just because the concept art has been out for it doesnt mean they can go and make a skin that quickly. People are obviously too young, or know very little or how artist work, or know how tech works to implement things into this game!

This skin was introduced in 2011. It has been 4 years now.

Yes some skins take months even years to make but seriously this skin took 4 years and still no any confirmation except Morello's words.

Plus, They have no need to stop all work to make 1 legendary skin. They are not small company wtf.

Actually yes they are still a small company. Do you think they have the same man power as say Blizzard, or Stream? Look how in general things take to come out for this game. it took nearly 4-5 years to update their servers, upgrade SR, and they are still taking their time with updating older champions. That along should tell you how small they are. things like this will take time especially when more important things are being worked on.

They have servers across the god damn world, not to mention massive regional offices. Two EU servers plus a Turkey server ALL IN THE SAME DAMN CONTINENT. Riot has more than enough resources to build this skin.

And for the guy above you, claiming that they don't have enough resources and that the skin concept has only been acknowledged during 2013 - That is still 2 good years of planning time. They already have the concept and textures as people have already suggested what should happen. Riot should take pointers. Oh but don't mind us though, we're just going to make a new skin for Ahri, Fizz, Tristana, Amumu, and every other champ in the game that has enough skins because they're what's popular and we want your money.

Plus, if this wasn't enough disrespect - They have excluded Swain from the major mid year mage update - So everyone else who doesn't even need a complete rework are going to receive one. I mean look at Velkoz, what was wrong with him? Absolutely nothing. He plays fine, he has a few counters, but if you understand how to play him well, you can stomp.

TL;DR: I just think that Riot needs to pull their finger out of their ass and stop pumping out skins and reworks for champs that don't need them, and focus on the champs who are constantly left outside of the limelight. Yes, that also includes people like Yorrick/Urgot.

Uhm Ao shin and this skin are definetly not in the same boat,since AurelionSol IS Ao Shin,or to be more precise what the ao shin concept turned into.

Dragon master swain is something they likely want to do in the future,but they already said that swain is on the list of VU/gameplay-updates,so until he gets that he won't get any skins,however once they actually finished the rework they would likely start to work on dragonmaster swain.

For now they predict that the rework is highly unlikely this year and there is no any guarantee that it would be 2017. If they can't push his rework out next year. Swain would be the champ who have no any new skin for at least 5 years!

Even the rework is finished. They still need quite sometime to make a new skin for him which should take about 4 - 5 months (not Legendary tier) except they want to release his rework and new skin in the same time like they did to Nassus.
