Considerations of deprived candidates for future comic featurettes
I have come to the thought that the Graphics team will be limited on the number of potential candidates for future comics. Because the medium is purely visual, and an entire half of League's roster will not be graced with their own comic feature. So while champs like Miss Fortune, Darius, Nami and the others are great opportunities to see move and operate gloriously through a visual narrative. It also means that any champ who would still make a perfect candidate for a comic but at the same time suffers from dated visuals (never mind gameplay), I feel like they won't have any equal probability by comparison.
Now I do understand that champs like Corki, Volibear, Nunu, Malphite etc etc. Are pretty much guaranteed to not be included in any visual promotion directly tied to the Universe/canon lore due to their dated condition and what would otherwise create contradictions and future consequences. That sucks but is still a understandable dilemma.
Yet on the other hand there are also tons more champs who are still without lore updating or worse, they lack all possibility for any immediate updating. Admit-idly there are numerous factors into why that's the case. But getting to the point comics are the best solution to this issue, take Ziggs' role in "Paint the Town" as a prime example. Comics won't competently fix a champion's dated narrative but it will definitely band aid the problem for those similar individuals. I'm talking about...
(These champ in my opinion should have a prioritization in some way or another.)
However those above are but one small factor, as plenty more champs need lore but for slightly different reasons. Those below were left out of a regional update and as well there is no immediate possibility for a returning to said region/ champion. Not unless a comic could be done for the mean time.

Next are champs who I personally believe will be sidelined from any possibility of a future comic due to their visually dated state despite still having a very clear narrative direction or it's unlikely that their narrative will evolve too differently from it's current form. Meaning a chance at a comic portrayal shouldn't be out of the question but I wouldn't be surprised if none ever surface for those listed below.

Although who can say, all above need VGUs foremost and its quite possible that they could be relaunched with a comic. But the point is they're not going to get one independently.
Lastly we have the champions from 2014- early 15, who all deserve a little extra lore.

Despite them being fairly modern champs the narrative team at the time managed to unfortunately provide these champs with some really limited content. So limited I would argue their narrative is as botched as the champs who were effected most by the retcon are. Hopefully you guys in Foundations planning to change that as soon as humanly possible. And I've always assumed independent updating shouldn't be too much to ask for or to do.
Conclusion: I look forward to seeing more comics and with the confirmation that Foundations is equally keen to do this, brings confidence for future lore progression. Personally I would hope that the Comics team utilize their many opportunities to help push Narrative into further areas that have not been attempted yet. At least not publicly that is, as I'm sure there's a lot of behind the scenes drafting that's been attempted. Anyway, I cross my fingers in anticipation that you'll be able to now do the things that were not practiced in the past. I encourage that you start all this with some of the champs I have mentioned here.
