Completely disregarding the gay retcon the lore is a vast downgrade. Varus was cool because he was using the corruption he was sworn to guard as a weapon. That no longer exists, it's basically just a virtue signalling version of Pantheons nu-lore. Even disregarding that the prose is just awful to read. Please revert this. Nobody wanted this. I want the real Varus back.

Me too! But i liked the new Darkin lore! They could at least change that! The whole gay shit could be developed to a new champion!
The old lore made so much sence.. instead of making him vengence change him to conquer wich was more what the old lore had him as. People originaly hoped for a horsemen of the appocolyps vibe to begin with anyway.
I love the way the published the rework. The old lore sounds kinda boring. Its something every second "Champion" in every Game has. This is something new or at least i never heard something like that. i like it tbh.
