So how come all of Malzahar's skin except for that very new (and late might I add) one all just have purple particles?
Give Prince Malzahar yellow spells. Red spells to that other skin, etc.
Xerath got these particles when he got a complete kit rework.
If Malzahar receives a kit rework on a similar scale or a complete VU,then he'd also get new particles for his skins.(unless they start updating these things seperately)
The difference here is that Malzahar has void powers, so they would always be purple regardless of what he's wearing or looks like.
Xerath on the other hand... His power can be seen within him. He's honestly just a magical blob of MAGIC and rock; or whatever his skin shows. So if Xerath's power is a different color, his particles will also be a different color.
