What direction would you guys like Fiddle to go in if he were to be reworked?

Hi guys, I'm curious about what ideas would you have about Fiddlesticks! My personal idea is that he should get an actual scythe and become an AP diver. His ult is already a dive in way. He definitely needs to be way more fearful than he is right now. Also maybe make him a demon in new lore, I always thought he was a demon. But these are just my opinions.

What would you like to see him become?

When it comes to design, I feel that Fiddlesticks is in a weird spot. Many parts of his niches are already kinda filled....

You are right that it would make sense for him to be a demon ap diver with a scythe, however, the problem for me is that we already have a diver with a scythe and kinda demonic features: Kayn (Rhaast, to be more specific)

Another niche are his crows. They are a major theme in his design, having crows following him around the map would make sense. But well.... Swain

Swain now has ravens everywhere which rip out your life essence and they appear everywhere he goes.

Because of that, I would take Fiddlesticks further away from his original design. Get rid of his crows, including his ultimate. I think they should focus him more around his ability to suck out your life.

And with that being said, I imagine new Fiddlesticks to be a champion from the Shadow Isles. He was once a cruel man, but the ruination destroyed his body completely. Just his ghost remained and this ghost was looking for a new body as soon as possible.

So he just possessed the first thing in his reach.... a scarecrow. He is draining the life force of people to gain power, hoping that he can one day restore an own body again.

Weapon choice could be a scythe, I guess. But I wouldn't rule out to give him another weapon. Maybe (for example) he just enhanced his scarecrow arms with some metal claws. Something that makes him look more scary.

Riot'll probably make him into a garden gnome that uses a slingshot

My take on him is that, He should be a demon like eve and tahm that feasts on Fear. He likes to eat peoples fear or even worst, likes to eat people with fear and want them as tasty as possible. Like how pennywise eats his victims (But not a copycat of course! But more of an inpiration). Imagine him transforming into your greatest fears. rito plese :)

And please if you VGU him, Keep his E !

Off Topic about my intake about Noc and Shaco's VGU direction !!

Nocturne should be a demon that feasts on peoples nightmares. And a Wrathful demon.

Shaco should be a demon that feasts on peoples madness/crazyness. Imagine his a manipulative demon. Like all demons in our world, deceiving people. For example a doll that posses a person to do his evil work/ make the mans life miserable.

I like Fiddlesticks, but the poor guy is not set up well currently. His kit works well in the jungle, but the AP jungle item is far too niche and doesn't work on him. Cinderhulk kinda works well with his Ult, but often you don't want people that close, or only for very brief periods so you get very very little value from it. What lane to use him in then? Top? Maybe in a couple match-ups he would be good, but so many other top laners would dump on him. Mid? His waveclear is far too weak, his W doesn't heal near as much as when Spell Vamp used to be a thing, and a lot of mages have CC or mobility to easily break the channel. Support? OK...but unlike aggressive mage support picks like Velkoz, Annie, or Brand, he doesn't bring the same CC or AoE to make a kill lane work.

He needs power reallocated in his kit. Change Q from uninteractive point click to a skill shot or zone skill. This would fairly give balance to remove the channel from his Drain and make this skill more usable and less restrictive. No longer having two channels built into his kit would also allow for a potentially better passive.

I like the idea of his feasting on fear. Running from him should make him stronger. For example, his ult could steal a little movement speed from champions who are running from him inside it, with the amount increasing the longer they run.
