I love how much everyone is investing in this. There's not actually that much lore surrounding Kassadin and Malzahar, at all... and yet they are now being heralded as one of the greatest rivalries in League!
This is a story I would love for us to tell. The narrative groundwork is already laid out.
The one thing that always bothered me about Malzahar is why he has dagger, that has no absolute use in-game...
For Malzahar, I'd like to see a new passive that plays on his future sight. All I've been able to come up with are Certainly T levels of bullshit so far. Things like a warning when someone you can't see is approaching, being able to see exact timers on enemy summoners, etc

Kassadin has received a full VU in the past actually, his old model looked so horribly squat and clunky.. but ya malzahar was only given texture updates during the mage class update.
Kassadin vs Malzahar would be cool, but Viktor vs Jayce would be even better.
