My two cents on the Riven/yas killer theory

this is old as all hell but I wanted to give my thoughts on this theory So for those that live under a rock Yasuo's story is that he was an arrogent student who was the only in an entire generation to master the wind technique, he was put to task by his brother to defend an elder a humble task, he got cocky and went to fight in a battle that was raging nearby, winning it for Ionia but when he went back the Elder was dead he turned himself in but it was thought he was the killer, so yasuo fought his way out to find the real killer, on the way out he killed his brother but before he died he asked why he was thought to be the killer Yas's brother said he died to a wind technique so who else could it be. Riven was a soilder for Noxus, basically an uncle sam or uh an aunt.. idk that was a firm beliver in Noxian strength above all, but during the Ionian contact Singed used bio weapons on both noxian and ionians alike, Riven deserted.

So why is riven thought to be the killer? Well it simply Yasuo will comment on her broken wings (his Q is a knock up and so is hers, it also has a unique effect on the third hit) and the fact her ultimate ultimate is called wind-slash.

Well my thoughts are this heres how i actually see how all charcters that could be potentially (or are) involved Yasuo innocent unintentionally framed Riven Innocent intended to be framed Leblanc Guilty Killer MasterYimight be killer (EXTREMLY unlikely) Reasoning Lets go with the easies first yi and yasuo MasterYi Wuju could be some type of wind technique and if its not whos to say Yi doesnt know SOMETHING in it, however I doubt this for obvious reasons if the elder was a noxian cospirator yi killing him isnt entirely unreasonable but I doubt this is the case Yasuo Yasuo is innocent because his lore is from his perspective and he started drinking AFTER the incident so he cant be the killer

Heres were it get interesting atleast to me I Think Leblanc is the killer, however I belive she wanted to frame Riven, and was not aware of Yasuo's wind technique the reasoning I have for this is a few. 1. Leblanc is an assasin, only the elder died and there was no collateral damage if riven killed the elder I find it difficult she didnt also break something else, ranging from a minor vase breaking to a pillar collapsing Riven kit seems to suggest she is a rough fighter so no collateral damage is suspicious. 2Leblanc's motive could be considered simple, Riven deserted is a threat to noxus but not Ionia, give Ionia a reason to hunt her down. However I doubt Ionia knew Riven was capable of any sort of wind technique she was a captain and poster-girl of the Noxian military not someone hugely important however unluckly for yasuo he was stationed to guard that elder, and in fact I belive when yasuo left to fight the elder was already killed by leblanc using her mimic magic to copy Riven's wind slash heres how I think the scene went Yasuo is stationed to guard the elder Leblanc assasinated the elder with Riven's Wind slash yasuo remains unaware Yasuo goes out to fight he returns and sees that the elder is dead he turns himself in lore continues as normal

heres why I think this 1.Yasuo does NOT recognize that the elder was killed by a wind technique, and hes mastered it! so clearly it wasnt a wind technique, what if it was wind MAGIC made to look like a technique, yasuo has shown with his interactions with riven to know how to spot a wind technique yet is caught COMPLETELY off guard when his brother tells him the killer used a wind technique 2.If the Elder is discovered to die BEFORE yasuo "left" his word of going to fight could be execused as allibi building 3. when yasuo turns himself in he is immediantly accused so no other wind technique user was in the area OTHER then yasuo that ionia knows of 4.I feel like Riven would not kill an elder since they seem to be like spirutual leaders more then anything (Syndra's master and Karma seemed quite faithful) and shes not someone who kills anyone and everyone thats all tell me what you think

I doubt that Leblanc is the killer. I mean what would be her motif? She wanted to frame Riven? Why would she do that?Riven was either considered to be on the side of Noxus or thought to be dead. Not to mention that this happened during the war,so if anything Riven would get a reward for killing the elder(not that anyone could really compare it,I mean Leblanc can't take a photo of the dead body and then bring it to Noxus,to tell everyone that Riven did it). Also just because Leblanc is an illusionist, doesn't mean that she could create actual wind magic.

And it is never specified how much collateral damage was done.It simply said that the elder was dead, not if the surrounding was devastated or not.

As for your points: 1.Yasuo likely found the elder dead, but did not examine his wounds. He likely believed that an unknown soldier or assassin killed the elder.

2.Since Yasuos lore mentions that he turnd hmself in,we can assume that Yasuo was the one who found the body and no one else.

3.Uhm yeah, thats pretty much the entire point why people think it was riven,as she has a wind technique that Ionia likely wouldn't know about.

4.It was rivens job to kill the weakened during the invasion. And while it wasn't something that she did not enjoy, she still did it. So there is really no reason why Riven would hesitate to kill one of the ionian leaders, even if he was defenseless.

Fact Number 1: The elder was killed by the wind.

Fact Number 2: Kennen is the wind.

Fact Number 3: Kennen is a Ninja.

Fact Number 4: Yasuo hates ninjas.

Cointidence? I think Not.
