My analysis of Valoran Nations Part 4 Noxus

Noxus is the eternal rival to Demacia, concerned with only power either physical or magical. Noxus is effectively an empire having expanded into southern Ionia (not sure if they are beaten back in new lore or just in a stand still) and other areas all around the city itself. Noxus most likely uses a Merchantilestic economy meaning the strength of Noxian economy is dependent on the amount of precious metals in its treasury, However unlike Demacia the lack of trading partners (yes zaun does "trade" with noxus, but those deals go directly to Chem-barons, and as such Zaun doesnt really benefit as a hole) means that the Noxian Economy is mostly self-contained and that limits its ability to grow and expand. Noxus as most empires has a very large population pool to work with, allowing them to make very large and imposing armies. Given the culture of Noxus its most likely Noxus does not have a single professional soilder, Soilders arnt paid and must buy and upkeep their own armor and enhance their own skills. Some Noxians have some accordance to honor but honor was dropped a while ago, and combined with the abundance of conquered non-noxian people into Noxus, The stability is pretty poor, whilst organizations like the Black Rose most likely deal with insurgent groups as they are a threat to their power, I doubt they can keep up with all of them

Noxus is technically allied with Zaun, however 99.99% of this trade is almost exclusively Noxus giving Zaunite scientists and maybe Chembarons scientists work for test subjects in return for weapons. Allied assistance provides +4 warfare +2 funding -6 Population
