are skins that basically fit the new skin lines cannon to "New" skin like? Like Bilgwater kat is she cannon to the universe that rouge admiral garen is in? Same with Sinful succulence morgana to the food line Leona is in?Is Rugged Garen Cannon to the D&D inspired skins that Braum is in?Also Why are the skin names not changed to make them match up same thing with Splash arts? (not that i want them to)
I don't think they put that much thought into most skin lines besides the most popular ones.
I think they said that Rugged Garen is part of the D&D-universe.
However in general I wouldn't assume that any skin lines are connected unless they share the exact same name,a rioter comment confirms it or they at least share a splash art.
I mean we do have lots of sci-fi skinlines,like battlecast,mecha,program and project and they are all seperate skin lines,even though they are all about sci-fi-robots/cyborgs So just because Bilgewater Katarina and Rogue admiral Garen are bilgewater themed,doesn't mean they are necessarily part of the same canon,as there could be more than one pirate-themed alternate universe.
And overall I wouldn't count on riot clarifying on which skins belong together as they said that they like to keep it ambigious,so that the community can build their own ideas around that.
