Noxus update and scatchlocke's recent statements.

So yesterday while running around the board i noticed a nice statement by Scathelocke , i just Quote him directly =

We Narrative folks have been listening quietly to player thoughts and feedback on the boards since I arrived at Riot a year ago, and some of the biggest pain seems to be "We don't know what the world looks like, or when stuff happens, or who knows whom"

First i want to say that im one of those people that keep asking this question "why we have no clear image of what Runettera looks like" because without that image League universe feels like scattered bits of short stories that if you give two of those bits to a random person who never heard of League of legends, they might not even suspect that the two are from the same universe.

Now im not criticizing anything here,exactly the opposite.why?

I'm not sure about you guys but this sort of short "stories" that explains the enviroment, how people live, how they dress,their culture, is more than enough for me to get my imagination going. Riot did the same thing with Targon which was just as satisfying as this. although Demacia update kinda lacked in this part, as we only got few images of the city itself.

While i really appreciate the style of art, these images with their documents, do wonders in capturing some of the moments for me that help me paint a better picture of the universe. now all i need is a confirmed timeline,doesnt have to detailed either to get a better sense of the universe. in addition to the awesome lore update we got tonight these were highlights of the night for me. the combined talent of digital artists and writers. so keep up the good work with this.

Also i appreciate scatchlocke recent presence on the board with his insights. some of the things he said put a lot of lore related questions and secrets into prespective but also upset a lot of players as they realise their theories or interpretations or even favorite ships might not be possible considering,that the two of the dots they felt to be connected all this time, might not be even from the same centuary. but thank you for sticking around with us.
