Garden of Forgetting - Universe of League of Legends

i've read this 4 times already . and it gets even more beautiful everytime!

i've never expected to read league and Ahri lore from this aspect. And THAT is how you right a romantic story!

i can't explain how i feel about it without spoiling it but it left me with mixed feeling of joy ,admiration and sadness. a monster that knows love, regret.is she truly a monster? is that how monsters feel like?! do they even feel?

i have much more respect and love for ahri now as i never cared for her much before this!

Ahri always been a complicated character. She is not basic.

I love it.

Maybe I'm not a romantic, but it didn't make me cry or anything.

It freaked me the hell out.

Like, it was one of the best stories in a long time, but the Garden of Forgetting was nightmarish. I could see why Ahri would want to forget, I could see why she stopped, but now so many memories are gone and this weird garden is reveling in its theft.

Omg. I had tears welling in my eyes (managed not to properly cry, but only barely.) This is why I could never give up League; they way Riot fills in and develops such a gloriously rich world, the nuance and shades of grey that they've been adding... Thank you, Riot, so much! <3

Rip off of The Silver Wolf by Alice Borchardt - it better than this.

It was Rammus OK Rammus. Sad that they ditched the question, "What does it mean to be human?" It takes the theme out of the grey and colors it black and white. She's a lot less empathetic to me now.

Fundamentally different direction from what I expected, but Rammus OK Rammus. It's different, so I'll just accept it.

All i got from this was, Ahri went to Zyra's mom to vent about killing her boyfriend... and zyra tried to kill her afterwards... also Snow Lilly Zyra inc!

Personally I didn't feel much connection to this story. It just felt like a discount of the Silver Wolf.

It's not bad, I just don't think it's all that great tho. I think it did a decent job of fleshing Ahri out as a character, but on that same note I felt her second story did a considerably better job of it then this one. I'm not sure if it was the way it was written, but frankly this story didn't bring me to care much about her, which I think is what it was trying to do. I don't feel any empathy or sympathy for her here. The whole thing just kind of came off as rather contrived I suppose.

That being said it's really nice that you enjoyed the story. EDIT: If you don't mind me asking, why is it that you think THAT is how romance should be written? To me it just felt flat, bland and pointless. I'm curious if you could share your perspective so I could understand a little better.
