Did i...did i just see Sona?
By the heavens!!! i can't contain myself! ok ok get it together woman!
we know that Riot has been planning this cinematic for a very long time, ever since Ryze's related champion list was updated or even before that.
This means a couple of things, her connection with Ryze : she was helping him with the world Runes! these champions were helping him with a rune in a different region of Runettera, and Sona was helping him in Ionia. at first i thought its Demacia but then i remembered this (thanks to one of the comments) :
This means, she either went back there at some point (moved or traveled), or she is a permanent resident of Ionia now, born and raised. She is still floating! which means her magic is as powerful as it was.
But for the love of god, she looks angelic! *** Thank you*** so much, to everyone in Riot who worked on this. I loved everything about it, sound effects of her kit, the color of her Etwahl changing with each different cast,her dress, the gorgeous details!! you guys really captured her beautiful aura!
I hope Riot could give us this image in high quality!

Important bits of information.During invasion of Ionia they traveled together to the monastery. and Navori brotherhood attacked them! why?
How did they meet? who approached who? if Ryze found Sona what did he tell her? i thought he is telling no one about what he is after. why did she agree to help him? what was she doing in Ionia? is she aware of world Rune existence? so many questions!
