I was thinking he was a human, who used vastayans as experiments like if you ever watched naruto shippuuden then he's like Danzo and he stole parts of vastayans and put it in himself,but he couldn't control it alone, so he got a vastayan who was compatible with his techniques, tortured and trained the vastayan to listen to his every command and made the vastayan stay in animal form(his crow) and used the vastayan as a catalyst to use his stolen vastayan powers. He covers himself up because underneath, his body is morbidly grotesque from his vastaya experiments.
Backstory:He was once a member of the black rose, he found Leblanc's tome in which he read a bit on the abilities she herself has,Leblanc found out and attempted to assassinate him but he escaped and was on the run for years.He tried to comprehend the knowledge he read from Leblanc's magic book on his travels while evading Leblanc and the Black Rose. Leblanc found him and sent an undercover agent of the black rose to work on a ship he was on and blew the entire ship up. swain barely survived washed up on a shore. He was injured and dazed wandering, he didn't know what was real and what wasn't until he was taken in by a vastayan village. He almost decided to stay in the village, he thought he was happy....but he still wanted something and started experimenting with the villagers right under their noses. He learned that he could assimilate vastayan abilities by applying certain body parts from the vastayans and so he did. After finishing his experiments and basically using the entire village in his experiments, returned to Noxus.
His Powers Info:He has vastayan abilities to shapeshift for short periods because of his experiments, Beatrice is an actual vastayan crow and does exist, he isn't a vastayan, he uses vastaya transformative abilities but also illusionary abilities he learned from leblanc's book. All his abilities have been stolen abilities, from leblanc and the vastayans he experiemented on. His only "power" is his cunning and intelligence.
