One of the ideal scenarios that comes to mind is Syndra having him assassinate someone to 'open the door' for her to do something else. The old fashioned Daimyo/Ninja intrigue, as it were. The 'what' of having Syndra do something is the mystery, though. Riot's limited perspective on her makes her a very isolated individual, and non-interactive with the world. She'd have to be after a major character/plot point, since her only antagonism is killing Ionian Elders.
If we were to expand her world role into that of a proper sovereign, though, then a whole world of politics opens up.

why do people care so much about lore
99% of league lore is telling a story and literally never finishing it, that's why I gave up on lore.
Isn't she like, omnipotent or some shit? Why would a god give a damn about a "oh look at me I'm so edgy I practice forbiden martial arts and killed my master" poser of a ninja? Also, there's a big difference between a comic villain and a being so powerfull to not give a damn about lesser creatures, at least from my perspective.
I feel like Syndra doesn't really respect anyone but herself when it comes to power, and I don't think Zed is stupid enough to allow Syndra to play him as an "ally."
