r/CorkiMains - Reav3 confirms Red Baron Corki at least being reworked into Gatekeeper Galio quality legendary skin: Do not discard these skins if you get them from hextech chest

I have come to reduce the number of regrets when the eventual Corki VGU does happen, so here is a proof that Corki's skin will get proper legendary treatment and not Alien Invader Heimer and Firefighter Tristana treatment.

Keep these shards because they will be worth it in few years.

Sucks that Firefighter Tristana and Alien Invader Heimerdinger are the only two recently-reworked legendary skins that have not been brought up to the modern standards. [zombie-nunu-bummed]

Although the one time I did use Ice Toboggan Corki I got this cool clip.

Well he did not mention how they'd handle the toboggan skin,but I guess it'll be good to at least keep the shard for now.

Though in a perfect world they'd give every old legendary skin the nunu bot treatment.

I am still salty that I rerolled Toxic Dr. Mundo back then before the big VGU wave. Back then it was just a green chroma and I thought "meh, whatever". Now I always have to think about how awesome a Toxic Dr. Mundo skin will most likely be after his rework, they will probably go for a chemtech theme or something like that. =(

Tobaggen Corki was one of the first skin shards I got from a chest and I disenchanted it because I never played Corki :(

Glad to hear it. Galio was actually the turning point for 1820 skins, because you'll notice that starting with him, any old 1820 skin has been reworked to be of a standard equal to it's price point (see Nunu Bot).
