So we might be waiting till next year for any Swain's updates?

Riot confirms that Swain will be getting his Full-on rework which could be far far away off to next year or beyond that.

I don't know but this statement shut down my hope for any Swain's updates this year let alone his new skin (no point to make a new one when the full rework ahead). Swain mains have nearly full year or beyond to wait for any news of him.

I know full-rework will be good for him but knowing this news makes me disappointed somehow.

Yeah it is because they are wasting time on champions that don't need updates. AKA Brand and Vel'Koz. I am in the same boat with Karma. I feel that she is boring to play and could use some love in the kit department. Riot said they are not even going to attempt to touch "support mages" until after they "retouch" tanks and other roles. So basically two to three years before RIot does anything. Riot is extremely slow with their development of balancing and updating champions.

While Karma and Lux might not need as much love as say Swain does, he isn't getting touched until they redo Taric, Yorrick, and Warwick. I even think Eve is before Swain so yeah . . . . probably not even next year they are touching Swain. It's ok though . .. Riot will update Zed, Vayne, and Rengar twenty four more times this year. I mean I wouldn't even be completely surprised if they gave Zed a complete makeover and redo his kit, since they seem to love him this year.

At first I can't believe my eyes that they excluded Swain from this mage's updates. I can't help but only think that Riot's denying Swain is now come to the ridiculous and absurd level.

I don't want to repeat this but Morrello confirmed Dragon Master skin for him back in 2012. nothing happened since. Now they confirmed his full rework. How much time will it take for this? maybe 2 or 3 years even 4 (i don't know if League will last that long)

They didn't include Swain into the Mage's Update, because he needed the full rework. The class updates they do (Juggernaut, Marksman, and now immobile Mages) are serving adjustments, which are bigger than just number tweaks or other balancing changes, but not as big as Poppy's, Sion's or even Xerath's rework. Also, look at how long Poppy was outdated. It takes time to think of a new kit and it takes at least the same time to make new visuals for a champion, all while still making it fit to the champions identity. Which is actually really hard in Swain's case (Tactician, crows, possible demon(dunno), Leader of Noxus).

That is what i'm afraid of. It takes so much time to reimagine 1 champ. They can only deliver Sion-tier reworked champ 1 champ a year (Sion - 2014) (Poppy - 2015).

Now Just look at champs who are ahead of him in line. There are Yorick Urgot Eve (perhaps Warwick included) only these champs can keep them busy atleast for 2 years.

Yeah that is exactly what he said. Swain need a full rework . . . when just a few months ago . . . he was kind of OP.
