A Reference I caught on the Ezreal Biography!

I just completed Vi,Cait and Ori and oh boy the stories were incredible! I couldn't find any additional points to these stories but Ezreal's biography may hints something about future Void Lore. Take this excerpt:

''The boy’s parents returned to Piltover periodically to sell whatever remarkable wares they’d acquired from afar. In his quest for increasingly rare and magical treasures to trade, Ezreal’s father was determined to discover the location of the lost tomb of the mage Ne’zuk, an ancient Shuriman whose head was crowned with twisted horns. The tomb was rumored to contain a magical gemstone that allowed the user to jump instantly from one place to another.''

We all know that the apostrophe in names in lore means that have Void origins eg: Cho'Gath, Kha'Zix And now we have Ne'Zuk hmm sounds Voidy but the information may indicates that this Ne'Zuk might have something related to Kassadin. Not convinced? Well what about ** twisted horns**,**gemstone **and jump instantly from one place to another?? Seems pretty Kassadin to me...Kassadin What do u guys think??

The tomb was rumored to contain a magical gemstone that allowed the user to jump instantly from one place to another.

Taric This sounds like cause for a joint expedition. Let me grab our sleeping bag.

Are you suggesting that Kassadin may be an ancient king?

I'm not sure how I'd feel about that. From what I remember, the void are remnants of ancient war machines of a forgotten conflict based on this segment: The Void is a nightmarish dimension said to exist outside space and time, where terrifying living weapons were wrought to win an ancient and long-since ended war.

So if it's possible that Kassadin is a king from that time period who not only got sucked into the Void, but came out of it with his sanity and individuality in tact and now fights to close the mistake.

Interesting.

Remember that, in the new canon, the names of the Voidborn are just what the Shurimans call them (e.g. Rek'Sai, "Queen of the Sai"). It's therefore not impossible to believe that Ne'Zuk has no relation to the Void, and that he was simply a Shuriman emperor.

Not saying you're outright wrong - in fact, I think it's probable that Ne'Zuk has a relationship to Kassadin - but just figured I'd make mention of that fact.

Ok, but what if Kassadin is Ezreal's father after discovering the tomb!

Kassadin : Ezreal, I am your father. Ezreal : NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo...

Actually. I have to disagree. Just because something has the apostrophe in its name doesn't mean it has to do with the Void. It means it has to do with Icathia. All void creatures follow the Icathian naming convention. Even Malzahar was originally Mal'Zahar (or Al'Zahar) before Riot removed the apostrophe. The tomb of Ne'Zuk is likely Icathian in nature.

Well... Ne'zuk was described with horns and kassadin fits it kinda with his POST-VOID form... the human skin has no such horns.

Nice.

We might have have gotten a peek at some new Kassadin lore.

...thats actually a pretty interesting theory.

Maybe he got lost in the void and when he returnd everyone thought already that he died, hence why his glove was already buried.

its a neat idea but i like sticking to my head cannon of him being ionian, cause he says the phrase "balance among all else." and is about the balance of power. a lot of ionian champions are about balance and have the line "balance above all things." so that seems the most likely place to be his home for me.

Great Feedback Guys! Just to clear something:Im not saying that Ne'Zuk is Kassadin I just think they are propably related. In Kassadin's old Lore he was consumed by the Void, maybe now he is Consumed by the Gemstone (Icon for Kassadin's Passive) and got turned into the loved Purple Guy that is today!

He jumped instantly presumably because of the gauntlets. Also I thought the horns were a part of some crown.

That is a good point

There was supposed to be another gauntlet, too. It's possible that Kassadin has the other one.
