How is Irelia any match for Swain?

I was listening to Irelia's new VO today, and in my opinion she's nothing more than a childish bully, not to mention a huge hypocrite. She insults Singed for being a coward, when the majority of her combat lines are about killing her enemies before they can even fight back. Her claims that she wants to defend Ionian culture from Noxus is pure idiocy, because it's been well established that Noxus integrates the cultures of the lands they conquer into their own and are a very diverse and accepting nation once they've conquered a country. I just want to know how someone this childish and ignorant is supposed to be any match for Swain, an extremely intelligent and calculating tactician.

She insults singed because he doesn't even face the people he kills,he just throws weapons at them from a distance. She kills her foes before they can react,but that just means that she is faster than them.It's like a cowboy shooting his opponent before he can draw his weapon.

And noxian integration isn't free,they'd have to provide Noxus with resources and soldiers on a regular basis for wars that do not have anything to do with them.

EDIT:Also irelia cut off Swains arm before Swain had any magical powers.

You can’t beat guerrilla tactics unless you are willing to cause massive collateral damage to the area. And since Noxus is invading Ionia for its natural resources, scorching the earth is not a good idea.

Being swift and deadly, utilizing superior strategy to out smart the enemy is different to Singed's indiscriminate chemical war fair. She calls him a coward, because what he was doing was not war, only murder. The cultural integration that takes place with the Noxian states comes at the cost that these states rolled over to let Noxus rule over them. The Ionians didn't want the Noxians to exploit their lands and their people, Noxus' response to that is war, its not idiotic that you have people who would resist such conditions.

I love Swain and the other noxians but im sure maybe personality is more in linebacker with Ionia. And if someone tried to come in my home and and cause trouble would definitely strike fast, hard and talk a Lorna of crap while doing it’s.
