I hope the new champion expands a bit on "chaos" as a force in Runeterra

I figure now would be a good time to make a post asking for some chaos lore because the new champion kind of hints at some chaos aspects, my main support for this being "heating up one of the coldest regions in Runeterra." It seems however there is more support for this being a type of smith character instead. Whatever, I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and make this post anyway because in general I'd like to see more chaos lore new champion or not.

Dark souls portrayed chaos extremely well in its universe, and I'm pretty glad that it has come to the league universe as well in the form of the chaos vs order event (assuming its cannon). The only problem is that it has not been expanded on very much. I think it would be cool if chaos was developed into a somewhat major factor within the league universe. Perhaps something opposed to kayle and gods in general as they tend to represent order, while chaos tends to represent a sort of freedom. I think that the right direction to take chaos is to make it an ambiguous thing, something not evil or good, but complicated as it is in nature. Perhaps chaos would be a uniting force between humans against gods, perhaps the whole drive to join the chaos movement would be to liberate humanity from gods. That would require a lot more development in the religions of the factions however, and as it stands there doesn't seem to be much divine intervention in the game.

Brand so far is the only real establishment of chaos in the game other than nightfall yasuo. I'm not sure about anyone else, but Brand doesn't seem to represent it very well. It seems almost pitiful to be honest. Its underwhelming and forgettable in my opinion, especially considering it doesn't seem like he is able to put up much of a fight (but my experience in game with brand might be to blame for this). I think some sort of reinforcement in his lore might help him out, but that isn't up to me.

I just like ambiguity within lore, and chaos is an aspect that has always seemed to have a level of ambiguity (then again dark souls is the only time I've ever seen chaos portrayed, and that game is ambiguous as all hell). I tend to like things much more when good and evil aren't clear cut. I have been spending a lot of time thinking about an interesting "chaos" themed character, but I cannot find any artwork that would help visualize the character, I'm not that good at making lore, and whenever I think of an interesting kit it always seems to relate too closely to another champions kit. I might just go ahead and make a thread about it anyway whenever I get the time. Thanks for making it this far, and I hope that this thread sparks some sort of discussion about chaos in the league universe.

The Riven vs Yasuo event is not canon. It was just a fancy promotion for the two new legendary skins set in their own universe. The Void is the closest thing to what you describe.

Chaos is extremely easy to comment on though since it is explicitly against any sort of order whatsoever. It's probably the least interesting and most useless thing to go after in terms of lore. I mean, who knew that Chaos and Order needed to be in some sort of balance right?

Dark Souls goes a lot deeper than just the concept of Chaos btw.
