Because the majority of players just doesn't give a fuck about eSports. Most would rather have champion announcers, like we had SG Ahri, DS Thresh, and GP in the past.
Riot has said that they're testing the water to see if there is demand for new announcers, but if THIS is what they're checking with, of course the feedback is going to be negative, and you guys at Riot better not turn your backs to announcers because of this.
im scared because of that, if they are using the current announcer as a measure to see if people want announcers things will end bad for the people who want champ and skin announcers, but no eSports announcers
for me, im being open minded and kinda like this announcer, i preffer more the champ announcers especially SG Ahri (hate me all you want thats what i like, Ahri best waifu)
the only thing riot needs to nkow is this:
the old lady announcer is boring and tilting, anything at this point is better and people want new fresh things to spice up the mainstream games
also perhaps in the future also add visual skins of terrain for summoners rift, that would be awesome
