Do we know what the image depicted on the Void lore tab is?

At first I assumed it was a possible location within The Void but now I'm not so sure. The image itself looks like an ominous desert biome so if I had to guess it seems like what was described as the entrance into the Sai'Khaleek from Rek'Sai's new colour text. Would I be right in that assumption?

(Honestly though I would love to be able see the image in its own link to get a better look)

#Edit: Turns out the image is of Icathia, without actually being Icathia but some how that still makes it Icathia? Case closed for this sad and salty prick... apparently. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

My original question still stands.

My guess is that the picture is the ruins of Icathia.

Doesn't have the biomechanical look the lore tidbit is describing at all.

That's a good guess but due to the fact that its not obviously Icathia nor are there any city ruins in the image, I'm not so convinced that is what it depicts. Like I said before the image looks a lot like a ominous desert but with some kind of barrier running through it. Implying the borderline to some kind of territory/ region and to me that says entrance into the Sai more then it does Icathia.

I'm pretty convinced that what looks obviously like a barren desert is not the same thing as, and i quote "a decaying cyclopean city".

Icathia is part of Shurima, aka part of the desert/barren wasteland of that Runeterran region of the world. Not to mention Icathia is still to this day the largest continuous Void gateway, starting all the way back from Ryzes younger times. Plus numerous champions, Voidborn and Void related point their origins from that single Nexus of Void.

Yes people are making it abundently clear that the assumption is Icathia. But whats tripping me up here is that the image is just a spooky desert zone. To me the chances are that the image is more likely to be the Sai'Khaleek from Rek'Sai's new colour text and not the Icathian region.

Am i wrong to think that if someone from Riot was commissioned to draw Icathia for fans to see and appreciate that said artist would actually draw the city and not an empty desert zone that could almost literally take place anywhere else in Shurima.

Or it could be the landscape near Icathia. I would first bet on it being Icathia (and/or the place where Aurelion Sol scortched Earth) than some randome unknown place of no significants.

I never said or implied that it was just "some random unknown place of no significance." I explained numerously that I think the image is of the border region to Sai'Khaleek the same place where the Xer'sai roam.

You quoted me saying that, yet i feel like you didn't read what i said at all.
