Any Lore reason why Harvey Bird Man, Emperor at SHURIMA doesn't just mush Rek like a bug?

The guy can apparently solidify sand into solid rock over a vast area via sheer force of will for giggles.

If Rek is harassing his empire, what exactly is stopping him from just hoisting Rek out of the sand and squashing her if she causes so much trouble? If her Q&A is to be believed, she has all the intellectual capacity of a bear, so outsmarting her should be about as difficult as having a bunch of sand-soldiers doing Riverdance in her territory and then springing the trap when she attacks the bait.

It's been months and I'm still trying to figure out why an overgrown Voidling is a champion and what relevance she plays in... anything, really.

Too bad her lore just talked about a Noxian guy who was way more interesting than she is instead of shedding some light on subjects pertinent to her.

There are several reasons: -Azirs sandbuilding powers are most likely limited. He didn't recreate the capital,he merely let it resurface from the sand.Ingame his sandmade towers quickly decay, which probably means that if he makes something out of sand, then it is not permanent

-The Sai is most likely rather huge, turning all of it into stone would prove to be problematic

-The sai is full of Xer'sai, once azir goes into it and starts messing with it,he is probably gonna be attacked by the xer'sai,if not Rek'sai herself

-Rek'sai is shown to be fully capable to burrow through almost anything. If azir turns the sand into stone, then rek'sai will simply burrow through the stones.

-There is nothing preventing rek'sai from resurfacing and attacking azir anyway

-Azir probably doesn't even know that rek'sai is active.all we have about azir is how he resurfaced and raised the capital again,no one ever told him that rek'sai is a problem and even if he knew,he would most likely focus first on uniting the people of shurima first, before he starts solving the problems of the uninhabited lands of shurima.

In addition to Greenlore's comment, theres one simple fact. Rek'sai is INCREDIBLY strong. Renekton had to Ascend to fight her off, and considering they both walked away, that speaks volumes about her strength. Also consider that its been directly said that Cho'gath and Vel'koz, both fairly powerful Void being, would not fight her if they could, and it can be understood that in her element, theres not many beings that can go toe-to-toe with Rek'sai.

Rek'sai isn't harassing his empire. She generally stays in her territory, on the southern side of Shurima, where she's apex predator.

The danger is that people can't go there, or she hunts them down.
