For the First Time in Nine Seasons, I’m Legitimately Disappointed

Up until this point, unlike most of the Boards, I’ve been generally supportive of the Kayle Rework. I was okay with the skins, and I liked how some of the skins were paired together. All in all, I was a satisfied summoner.

Up until today.

I just saw the final releases for Kayle’s entire skin line on Skinspotlights, and only two skins received any specific VFX, despite some of them being legacy or limited release skins. This wouldn’t be so much of an issue if there wasn’t such a disparity between the amount of time, love, and care was given to her skins vs Morgana’s. Approximately half of Morgana’s skins, or at least a considerably larger portion of her also impressive skin lineup, got custom VFX for her skins. And we’re not talking just 1350 skins, either. Exiled Morgana got all custom VFX, a 975 skin. The matching skin on Kayle’s side, Battleborn Kayle, also a 975 skin, gets jack squat. Same thing for Transcendent, Judgement, and Silver Kayle, all legacy skins, the latter two of which are exclusive to players harkening back from seasons 1 and 2.

I get that there was an announcement regarding VFX for future reworks, but it doesn’t seem that the same standard was followed for both characters. That is incredibly disappointing and unfair to people who love this champion. If Morgana gets a multitude of skins with special VFX in a JOINT rework, it’s only fair that the other champion in that joint rework receive the same treatment.
