The ultimate skin

Is Elementalist Lux going to be this year's 3250??

Is there/will there be an explanation?

Skins seem to be going to champions who have gotten them recently, while outliers (even just of the meta) are chalking up their waiting count in years.

I understand skins are not 'on-demand,' but they've used them to highlight and accent champions before, I'm just curious if that value has gone wayside because they have reworks to put through and finalize?

If they're putting in the work to make a 3250 skin, of course they're gonna put it on a commonly played champion so more people are inclined to buy it.

Pretty sure Lux is one of the most popular characters in the game in terms of likability of lore/persona/kit. Rito is going to make BANK off of this skin, and I for one will be helping them do so. Lux Main >;3

Well star guardian is over a year old, which isn't really recently. Sure it got some new attention now with the other star guardians coming out,but thats about it.

Also I guess it does make sense to give the skin to a champ who is not only played a lot(when udyr got his, some complained about the ultimate skin being wasted on him),but who also has some other skins as alternative(again when udyr got it a few were upset that his first decent skin was so expensive)
