Many people want a Dark Star Aurelion Sol skin, but....

...am I the only one that think Aurelion Sol already fits that theme, alongside with the Cosmic skin line?

To me, Aurelion Sol base skin is a mix of both the Dark Star and Cosmic Reaver/Blade skinlines. His spells look like they are from the Dark Star skin line with a less "evil-ish" effect and his model have a color scheme similar to the Cosmic one with a darker tone...

Maybe he and the Dark Star skins are supposed to look the same, since AS supposedly created every stars in the universe, INCLUDING the Dark Star. And since he is a demi-god he have to be part good as well, which may be the reason why he have the Cosmic counterpart...

...we can count the Cosmic skin line as the good guys right?

I agree man maybe a chroma to give it the dark star line. But charging 975 to 1350 for simplying a recolor is a bit much. I feel he already fits with the cosmic line in his base skin

Well, Dark Star would be neat, but most of all I want STAR GUARDIAN SOL.

He would totally ROCK them sparkles and skirts!

Sorry but Riot said that they won't do any star-related skin for AS, since he is already working with stars.

Riot has already said they don't want to give skins to champions that would be redundant. Kind of like giving a Pool Party skin to Nami or Fizz.

But hey, I mean, if you're willing to pay for a skin that doesn't really look much different from the base skin...

That may be the case now, but most of pantheons skins are different Greek style warrior skins. Slayer and baker being only truely different. Ones in my opinions.

(I don't count dragonslayer because of my love of shy)

They don't count. Recolours and very simple model changes were the norm when Riot was just a baby company starting out, but now they have the freedom and resources to do so much more.

I, personally, never buy 750 skins because model changes are not worth my money. At least a Star Guardian Aurelion Sol has a chance of being pink or some other bright neon colour. Dark Star would be so redundant it's not even comical. Hell, people even post fanart of a purple Star Guardian Syndra skin. She's already purple. What's the point in ANOTHER purple skin?

If Diana can get a Blood Moon skin and Graves can have his cigar back I see no reason why Sol can't get a Dark Star Skin. :P

I agree with cosmic,though less so with Dark star.

After all the dark stars have a completely different color scheme than Aurelion and a much more eldritch vibe in general.

Meh, he doesn't fit the battlecast theme. Only void monsters got a battlecast skin, so that would remove a lot of consistency. Like OP said, it would also look very similar to Ashen Lord, and a lot of AurelionSol know already don't like his skin.

Urgot and Skarner aren't void beasts, and Creator Viktor is the mastermimd behind the line. I'm not saying Battlecast Aurelion Sol is a good idea, but the Battlecast theme isn't limited to the void.

Oh, yeah. Sorry, I wasn't thinking about them. Either way though, Aurelion seems too sophisticated and powerful for battlecast.
