About Riven's Shoes

I write this thread because I am wondering if Riven's feet are okay.

Imagine spending hours and hours in active combat wearing a leather sandal on one foot and leather boot attached to some heavy spiked metal gear thingy. I mean... imagine the friction from jumping around, running around, and performing high intensity combat moves. Your feet must be bleeding or cut or bruised or something.

Now on the right foot MAYBE (and hopefully) Riven is at least wearing some kind of a protective sock underneath. But the sandal? Have you ever tried running around in a pair of sandals on a day you forgot to wear your running shoes out of the door? Yes, it hurts. Within 5 minutes. Poor Riven has to do it for 30-40 minute battles.

So I ask of the community, how do you think in lore Riven survives this problem?
