New Event... (Positivity Thread)

Was epic! I love this damn event and I've really never been more intrigued to read the story in a game before. I wanted to know EVERYTHING about the world of Runeterra after this event.

Please, Riot, if you can pull more events off like this for Halloween, Thanksgiving (optional, but would be awesome to at least see some artwork of all the champions sharing a massive Thanksgiving feast :P), and Christmas, I'm gonna be converted into a lore fanatic.

Kudos to whoever coordinated and made this event, he needs a bonus for this.

Also, Boards community, let's show Riot a little love. Yes, the lore is pretty lackluster CURRENTLY, but this event shows that they do care and are willing to work on it. (See the story attached to the event.) Come on, let's be honest: Seeing Graves and TF hate each others' guts throughout the story and then save each other at the end of it all in a REALLY badass manner was friggin' AWESOME. Plus, the actual story affecting THE ACTUAL GAME in the manner of disabling a champion that DIED IN THE STORY shows just how Riot cares about the story-game interactions.

When they do events.... they never have to be at present time. There has to be a timeline of LoL's world. They can then repeat events each year like the Harrowing, Ascension, and whichever else because the timeline reveals consistency in story and lore that players can read, understand, play and immerse.

New events and new stories can be one-time if this is what Bilgewater is. An event that deliberately progresses story and lore in LoL's present time.
