Riot has been releasing Mythic (hardest to obtain) skins at a higher rate than Legendary
Riot needs to slow down for two reasons:
- The average player actually cannot keep up. They can't earn Prestige Points or Gemstones fast enough to buy every Mythic Skin comes out - even just for their main role. Last time I checked, it took some absurd amount of chests just for 10 Gemstones (and probably a similar amount for the Prestige Points bundled with Chests) and ADCs are up to their 5th Mythic Skin (30 Gemstones and 200 Prestige Points in total).
- The quality isn't there. This goes mainly for the Prestige Skins. The quality is so low that it's controversial that they even belong in the same skin tier as Gemstone skins.
This is pretty objective too, by the way. I've been around since Season 2 and have every skin so it costs me 3 random skin shards to get these skins. I worry about the quality of the skins and the experience of the average player.
